South Africa former captain and present national director of cricket south africa graeme smith has shown interest in dividing 24 players into three teams and make a tournament out of it.Even cricket greats like ab de villers will be seen playing the cricket match along with quinton de kock and kagiso rabada. Ab de villers quinton de kock and kagiso rabada will be the captains of the three teams.

Graeme smith even got permission to conduct matches the matches from the government of south africa during this tough corona virus situation with Super Sport Park venue being participating in the tournament as Centurion being one of the corona virus effected hotspots in South Africa.

The tournament is named as Solidarity Cup with the first match starting from 27th June 2020 dividing into three teams each team having eight players in the side. There will be even Solidarity Fund whose aim for assisting local cricket community.

Format of the Tournament
Three teams in a cricket match.
Total of 36 Overs in one cricket match.
After seventh wicket the batsman will score with only two's,four's and sixes
Three teams will have 12 overs in an innings with six in each half.
Bowlers are allowed three overs maximum on opponents to bowl.
